As we continue walking, we head toward one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, the Palazzo della Pilotta, a vast historic complex that reflects Parma’s past as an important ducal capital. Along the way, we stop at an authentic cheese shop to taste the king of Italian cheeses: Parmigiano Reggiano. Here, you’ll learn what makes this product so unique while sampling different aged varieties.
