Duration: 10 minutes
L.O.V.E., the striking sculpture in Milan’s Piazza degli Affari, is one of Maurizio Cattelan’s most iconic and provocative works. The massive marble hand—often nicknamed “Il Dito”—shows all fingers severed except the middle one, pointed defiantly toward the façade of the Italian Stock Exchange.
Duration: 5 minutes
Piazza del Duomo is the majestic heart of Milan, a grand open square dominated by the city’s iconic cathedral. Surrounded by elegant buildings, cafés, and historic arcades, the square is always alive with visitors, street performers, and locals going about their day.
Duration: 20 minutes
Piazza Mercanti is a charming medieval square nestled just steps from Milan’s Duomo, offering a peaceful contrast to the busy streets around it. Once the political and commercial center of the city, it is surrounded by historic buildings such as the Palazzo della Ragione and Loggia degli Osii, each adorned with elegant arches and Gothic details.
Duration: 15 minutes
Piazza della Scala is one of Milan’s most elegant squares, best known for hosting the world-famous Teatro alla Scala. Surrounded by refined neoclassical architecture, the square features the statue of Leonardo da Vinci at its center and offers a graceful, open space connecting the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with the city’s cultural district.
