Itinerary
Ready to reach the altitude of 2,000 meters?! We will pick you up early in the morning with our 4-wheel drive or minivan. From there, you’ll enjoy a moderate hike off the beaten track (approx. 2 hours) to admire the fascinating landscape of the Valle del Bove, the biggest depression of Mount Etna and its moon like deserts. From there we will enjoy the breathtaking views of the summit smoking craters of Mount Etna and the surrounding landscapes facing the lonian sea. The tour also includes the exploration of a lava tube with helmets and flashlights to experience a natural phenomenon created when the surface lava solidified but magma continued to flow into the tunnel.
