Learn about the Mt Vesuvius eruption that covered this ancient city in ash some 2,000 years ago exploring indipendently the Archaelogical site.
Afterwards you will visit the ancient Winery of the Mount Vesuvius where you will have an exclusive wine tasting of Lacryma Christi DOP Organic Wines which is paired with a typical lunch of Mount Vesuvius area.
Cantina del Vesuvio is a winery owned by three generation of wine maker of the Russo Family and their limited production is sold exclusively at the winery.
Celiacs, vegetarians, and vegans special menu are available.
In the afternoon you can also choose to improve your tour visiting one site between Mount Vesuvius, Herculaneum or Oplontis (you can select one of them during the booking process).

A member of the Russo Family will escort you a guided walk tour of the vineyards located on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius overlooking the Gulf of Naples with Peninsula of Sorrento, and Capri Island.
Afterwards, you’ll tour the winery where Lacryma Christi DOC is produced, and will end sitting down on the terrace for a wine tasting, paired with typical local specialties from this little corner of paradise on Mount Vesuvius.
