Itinerary
Duration: 10 minutes
One of the most panoramic roads in the whole city built to connect the lower part with the Vomero. A long route that offers splendid views of the city and the gulf to those who travel along it, thanks to a provision by Ferdinand II himself who ordered that the buildings occupy the road only on the side of the mountain.
Via Posillipo a "mythical" road in Naples that climbs the splendid hill of the same name. From Largo Sermoneta in Mergellina it reaches the descent of via Coroglio. At every step, the panorama of the gulf offers always different, always suggestive glimpses that never tire of being admired. Hidden stairways are occasionally discovered from the side of the hill. Gorges dug into the tuff hidden between the gates and not always easily passable, which lead to via Orazio and secret corners.

Between poetry and suggestions we arrive in one of the most suggestive places in Naples: Marechiaro. Place of romantic walks up to the famous "Finestrella", inspiration of famous verses by Salvatore Di Giacomo.
Marechiaro is a picturesque, small fishing village overlooking the sea nestled in the Posillipo hill, where you can still breathe a unique atmosphere with seaside restaurants, piled up nets and old wooden fishing boats.
Duration: 30 minutes
One of the green lungs of the Neapolitan city, the Parco Virgiliano is characterized by a system of terraces overlooking the gulf of Naples, from which you can see, in addition to the vast panorama of the gulf, the steep rock walls, often yellow due to its tuffaceous constitution. The view of Procida, Ischia and Capri, the gulf of Pozzuoli and Bacoli, the promontory of Capo Miseno and Vesuvius is wonderful.
Duration: 30 minutes
We arrive in the hilly area of Naples in the Vomero district, different from the rest of the city with splendid late Art Nouveau style villas and buildings along tree-lined avenues, panoramic areas and refined shops and restaurants.
It is by far one of the largest religious monumental complexes in the city and one of the most successful examples of Baroque architecture and art together with the royal chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro, as well as the fulcrum of seventeenth-century Neapolitan painting.

The tour ends with the most famous of the sfogliatelle, those of Carraturo. One of the historical pastry shops of Naples famous all over the world for the "frolle and curly". An unmissable stop to taste the Neapolitan culinary tradition.
