Itinerary
Your local English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation for the start of your private tour, and travel south past Buonconvento and into the UNESCO protected val d'Orcia, past iconic postcard views through the most panoramic sceneries. Stops for photo opportunities are frequent.
Visit a local organic farm to view the animals and to taste the pecorino sheep cheeses and goats cheeses that are made in their dairy. Taste the local extra virgin olive oil and enjoy stunning views of the neighbouring hills. Continue your tour towards Pienza, the famous Renaissance Town that was built by Pope Pius II.

After visiting Pienza, enjoy a comfortable drive to the hilltop town of Montalcino, Siena's last bastion of defense against Florence and renowned for its red wines, extra virgin olive oil and honey. A brief visit to the town to be introduced to the area before visiting a local winery to tour the cellars and taste the famous Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino wines! After a winery tour, comfortable drive back to Siena and your accommodation.
