Itinerary
The meeting point of this food tour is by the church of Santa Maria Regina Pacis. Your guide will meet you with the sign of our company name on the sidewalk by the entrance of the church in via Barrili 76-78.
This pastry shop is being run from the same family since three generations!
Duration: 20 minutes
Admission ticket included
Here we'll taste the freshness of the Roman countryside (after eating lots of pizza and pasta during your Italy trip, you'll appreciate some fresh fruits!).
Duration: 30 minutes
The brother will prepare for us a special selection of hams and cheese from the Roman countryside, together with a glass of wine.
Here you'll also learn about the ingredients that are part of the most popular Roman dishes, such as carbonara and amatriciana.
Duration: 20 minutes
But here you'll always find a queue of locals buying their bread.
This bakery is run by Alessia, who continued the business her grandpa started here after WW2 ended. Since then, the bakery hasn't changed a thing.
In this bakery you'll taste a must-try of the Roman street food: pizza rossa!
This is not the pizza you'll find in the restaurants, but the pizza from the bakery, that kids bring to school for their lunch breaks.
And adults like to eat while walking to their errands, or for a quick break in the morning. A pizza that most tourists tend to overlook, but that is so worth trying!
Duration: 20 minutes
Last but not least, gelato! You'll taste our favorite gelato and you'll learn how to recognize the signs of a good gelato on your own, even after this tour. You'll also get to see the laboratory where gelato is made.
Duration: 20 minutes
