Itinerary
The first stop is a premium winery, meaning a renowned historical winery or a boutique winery.
The hospitality staff will introduce you to the Franciacorta wine region, its history, and some facts about its development. You will learn everything about the production method (the same for Champagne), having the chance to observe the journey of the grapes through the cellar.
The guided visit is followed by a tasting of Franciacorta DOCG wines.
Duration: 120 minutes
At noon, after a short drive, you will reach a charming little trattoria, where you will enjoy a three-course menu. The menu could include dishes from the tradition of Franciacorta and Brescia, such as manzo all’olio di Rovato, braised beef cooked slowly in olive oil and served on a bed of polenta, or Clusane’s baked stuffed tench, Franciacorta Risotto, or casoncelli (ravioli pasta stuffed with bread, cheese, and meat).

Last stop, after a short drive you will reach at about 3.00 PM, a second winery visit. To a small family-run business this time. You will discover the producer's philosophy and the features of his beloved Franciacorta wines.
At the end of the visit, you will taste their Franciacorta wines.

Before returning to your accommodation, take your time to have a lakeside walk in Iseo, a little village. There you will find some shops and bars where you can easily find a coffee or a gelato to conclude the day at its best.
