Gold tasting in the Oil Mill in Umbria
Is this experience for you?
Tour Highlights
Full Description
Guests are invited to take an exclusive tour of an olive mill dated 1962 and owned by host Marco, who is going to explain how the local olives are pressed to produce three types of olive oil. The tour is going to be followed by a degustation, in which smell and taste are the primary senses called upon to provide answers about the quality of the product.
You will be guided on a tasting of three types of extra virgin olive oil and learn how to recognize its scent, taste, and other characteristics. And it was a surprise to appreciate unusual gastronomic combinations.
