This gastronomic tour through Travestere will take you down colorful alleys and to ancient, artisanal boutiques. With the help of a local food expert, you'll explore the beating heart of Italy and discover Rome's oldest and traditional recipes.
At each stop you'll try something new, starting with an ‘aperitivo’: local cheeses and a glass of wine. Then comes the traditional must-haves such as Roman supplì, the white pizza, ‘porchetta’, and pasta with carbonara sauce. You'll play the “Gioco dell’Ova” (Eggs game) where you have to try gourmet dishes like caviar and oysters and finish the tour with a cone of the best artisanal gelato in the area!
