Franciarcorta is a town in the province of Pavia, Lombardy, Italy. The winery is one of the best in the region and offers a variety of wine styles and types. The unique location allows visitors to enjoy the wine and nature at their leisure.
The region is well known for its white wines, which are made from a blend of grapes including arneis, chardonnay, verdicchio, and whites from the marsalese grape. Most areas are farmed organically and animal manure is collected and used on the vineyard. The grapes are hand-harvested in nets, destemmed and then taken to a local winery for fermentation.

This is the heart of the Città Alta and one of the most attractive parts of the city. It is also a medieval square that is surrounded by some of the historic buildings of the city, such as the Palazzo Nuovo and the Civic Tower.
