Full Description
Departure is at 10.00 from Verona, and we will immediately head to the extrordinary land of Valpolicella and you will enjoy panoramic views of the hills and vineyards. We will stop at San Giorgio di Valpolicella, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, or in Marano, from where it is possible to visit the temple of Minerva or the church of Santa Maria in Valverde.
We will then move to a local winery, where you can satisfy all your curiosities about the wine production, and you will taste the prestigious DOC and DOCG wines of Valpolicella, including Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto.
The beautiful Veronese countryside is ready to welcome you, come with us to experience a quiet and relaxing Sunday, enjoying the wine of our land. It will be an Amarone wine tour to remember!

- In the cellar the temperature is constant 15 Celsius degrees (59 Fahrenheit), so we suggest to take with you a sweater or a jacket; if it will be possible we will try to show you the vineyards, so it’s recommended to wear sneakers or comfortable shoes.
- the tour leader, in respect of all the guests, will wait for you in case of late maximum for 15 minutes.
- We ask you to inform us if you have any appointment after the tour (if you booked a train ticket, an opera show in Arena or a reservation for a restaurant), so we can do our best to respect the schedule.

Our guide will lead the guest to discover the Medieval parish church of San Giorgio di Valpolicella, built in the XII century on a previus Roman temple and representing one of the most interesting Romanesque architecture in Northern Italy. Since 2015 the town of San Giorgio is in the list of the Most Beautiful Hamlets of Italy.
