Itinerary
The organic farm of Poggio di Camporbiano produces a variety of delicious cheeses and other products since 1988. The guide will introduces you to the Byodinamic Agricolture, a method that consider the whole farm as a living organism and tries to build a harmonious and balanced ecosystem. You will also visit the cows shed and the goat sheepfold. The visit will finish with a delectable tasting of healthy cheeses of their production.

A guided tour will give you information about this medieval gem, aka the "Medieval Manhattan" for its numerous medieval towers, still intact. Free time to wander in the narrow streets and to shop will be available too. If you feel peckish, you can opt for a stop at Dondoli, Worldwide gelato championship winner, and indulge in its delicious gelati made with the fresh milk produced by the farmhouse just visited (gelato not included).
If you prefer a more off-the-beaten path experience, we'd suggest the visit of another medieval beauty, the village of Certaldo, that will enchant you with its history and buildings.

Close to Gambassi Terme we will visit the family-run Nencioni olive oil mill. Here we'll uncover the secrets to produce a high-quality, flavorful olive oil, visit the farm and the olive groves. Upon request, a walk among the olive groves can be arranged. You'll also have the chance to learn how to taste olive oil during an informative and enjoyable tasting and light lunch.
